Antidote to New Year (yuck) - Stonebarrow to Golden Cap
The suggestion was that we pop up this hill for a spot of lunch and a good view. Not being good at heights I suggested I maintained the base camp. But - I was persuaded that there was a fabulous pub at the summit run by Sean Bean's younger and far better looking brother. So I hiked up all 191 metres, just a little grumpily and more than a little scared at the slippery surfaces and crumbling cliffs...........
Of course it was all a lie......................... but the views were breathtaking (what little I had left!).
