Shriya Saran opens a spa for the visually challenged.


Bollywood hottie Shriya Saran is doing its bit for society. She has recently worked with an NGO and opened a spa in Mumbai for the visually impaired, where they will be offered treatments such as reflexology and massage treatments that have been programmed to give them great comfort.
The people of the NGO said: “It’s an old wish of Shriya doing some service to society. And she found this idea very interesting and innovative spa.”


Shriya is also very hopeful about the project and said: “When I studied in Delhi, we used to often visit a blind school. My experiences there left a deep impression on me, so bad that I opted for a spa to a hand to give visually impaired people in Mumbai Open. “
On the professional front, Shriya has her fingers crossed for the success of Deepa Mehta’s forthcoming English venture ‘Midnight’s Children, “which Seema Biswas, Shabana Azmi, Nandita Das, Soha Ali Khan and Irrfan Khan star.
