People love glass effects. They also love transparent look, glowing and glossy as well. Now, we will learn how to make these popular effects. Less than 1 minute, you can get this Transparent Glass Style in Photoshop. Let's get started!

Step 1

Open any image in Photoshop. I recommended to open full color image or the real photo (not abstract) but it's up to you after all ^^.

Step 2

Use Horizontal Type Tool (T) and write any text you want. In this tutorial I used white color (#FFFFFF), 72pt for size, and Gill Sans Ultra Bold for font.

Step 3

Apply the following Layer Style to the "Transparent Glass" Text Layer (Double Click on it or go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options...).
Blending Options: Custom – Set Fill Opacity to 20% under Advanced Blending




Outer Glow: You may change outer glow setting if you want to.




Gradient Overlay: This is the crucial part of this step. Don't miss it!





Stroke: I used standard stroke here. White (#FFFFFF) for color, 3px for size in outside position and 100% for opacity.

Step 4

Look what should you get now ...A Transparent Glass Style Effect.




If you take a look closer, it will be like the following image. It's so cool, isn't it?




You may also change the color of the text if you like

Crystal Glowing Text

Make Crystal Glowing Text




Step 1 : Open New work document set Width : 800px and Height : 600px. Choose Black Background




Step 2 : Choose Type Tool > Type theText what do you want > Set Size, Color, and Position Just like picture below









Step 3 : Double click on the Text at layer tab > Set the FX











Step 4 : Follow the picture below to set each FX




• Blending Option Custom : Drop the fill opacity to 0%









• Inner Shadow









• Outer Glow









• Inner Glow









• Gradient Overlay









click at the gradient color to set it > Set the Color just like picture below









• Stroke









After that press Ok button to see the result and don't forget to Save As .psd Image.

Reflective Text Secret

Make Reflective Text

Before you learn this Tutorial I would you to See Part 1 : How to Make Crystal Glowing Text

Ok let's we begin

Step 1 : Open the .psd Image that you have gotten before > Duplicate the text Layer

Step 2 : Select on That Duplicated layer > Ctrl + T to Transform > Flip Vertical







Move that layer to set the position just like the picture above.

Step 3 : Select the duplicated layer > click on cliping Mask



Step 4 Click on Gradient Tool and then choose Reflective Gradient



Move the Gradient from A to B

Electric Text FX

Create Electric Text Effect

This is my Final Result.



Step 1 : open a new canvas, 800px x 300px in size. Fill it in with Black.



Step 2 : Insert some large text in white (#FFFFFF).

Step 3 : Create a new layer, fill it with white, and set foreground color to black (#000000).
make sure that your layer position like this





Step 4 : Go to Filter > Texture > Stained Glass, use the following settings and click OK 






Step 5 : Use the Magic Wand Tool to Select the black part 






Step 6 : Create a new layer and fill the selected area with White (#FFFFFF). Delete or hide the old/previous layer underneath.





Step 7 : CTRL + Click on the text layer. Go to Select > Modify > Expand. Set it to 5 and click OK. Right Click on the selection and choose Select Inverse. With the top layer selected, go to Edit > Clear. 





Step 8 : Make sure you have selected white line layer





after that go to Filter > Distort > Ripple, set the Amount to 156% and the size to Medium, click OK.
Step 9 : Apply the following blending options to this layer (whiteline):
Outer Glow 





Inner Glow 





Color Overlay






here is theresult






Step 10 : Now apply the following Blending Options to the Text layer:
Gradient Overlay





Stroke





You should now have something like this: From here you can add some more effects, like a reflection, to suit you.

Step 1
Open new layer and give him Gradient Overlay.

Step 2
Tipe text

Step 3
Use Character and give to text smaler spacing. something like in picture.





Step 4
Tipe rest of the text.

Step 5
Use Free Transformation to transform text like in picture.

Step 6
Give to text Gradient Overlay effect like in picture.

Step 7
Now put all layers in one Set. Rasterize set and use Perspective Transformation like in picture.

Step 8
Free Transformation.

Step 9
Duplicate Layer Set. Color him in black and move behin of first set.

Step 10
With Rectangular marquee, select word by word and move every word like in picture.

Step 11
With Pen Tool draw new layer. Yellow lines show you the drawing way.

Step 12
Select last two layers and put them in one group. Rasterize them.

Step 13
Now you can play and with brush you can give some color effect.

Step 14
Ok. Duplicate all layers, rasterize them in one Set and rotate like in picture. For this rotating use Free and Skew Rotating.

Step 15
Now give some Gradient Overlay and Layer Opacy put to 30%.

Step 16
Go back to first text layer and in Filter use renden>Lens Flare. Repeat this step for several times and move point every time to other location.

Step 17
For background you can play. We use some brush. Open new Layer and use brush.

Step 18
Give some effect with inner shadow. This shadow give to layer reality.

Step 19
And this is Final Work.
