A late evening bike ride and this was the view across the marshes from the Blackshore - I was having far more fun taking pictures of seedheads but this seagull kept posing and he demanded a picture.
The most lovely sunset that lingered and promised the best of days to follow - which sadly did not quite happen but who cares if they are trying to read the paper on the beach with the rain spotting and the wind blowing. Such an empty beach meant that they could bring the horses up from the fields to dance along the single and toss their heads as they waited to be allowed to gallop.
This picture looks a bit of a mess - too much intensity in the foreground but it almost glows like a Samuel Palmer when it is enlarged so I have kept it in.
